Janice Louise (Robinson) Hill

Janice Hill, 76, of Mills River, North Carolina, passed away on February 17, 2026, at Advent Health of Hendersonville.

Born on October 6, 1949, in Asheville, North Carolina, Janice was the daughter of the late Thomas “Elic” Robinson and Annie Bell Robinson. She was a loving mother, proud grandmother, and devoted Christian whose faith guided her life. Janice was a lifelong member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church.

Janice found great joy in doing crafts, playing the piano, and singing gospel hymns. She especially cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and took every opportunity to teach them about God and share her love of faith and family. Her warm spirit and gentle guidance will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Rast.

She is survived by her son, Chris Hill (Sharon); her daughter, Crystal Gardner; her beloved grandchildren, Amber Hill, Starr Gardner, Chase Gardner, Mason Carver, and Levi Carver; her brother, Tommy Robinson (Hazel); and her sister, Linda Goodwin (Bobby); several nieces and nephews; and her close friends, Judy Garren and Nancy McMahan.

Janice’s legacy of love, faith, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
