Jeffrey Lynn Peterson

Jeffrey Lynn Peterson, 65, of Swannanoa, NC, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Mission Hospital in Asheville. Born November 12, 1956, in Asheville, NC, he was a son of the late Clyde and Elizabeth Peterson. 

He was an active member of the Mountain Shag Club of Asheville.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Patrick Peterson. 

Surviving are brothers, Mike “Pete” Peterson and his spouse, Alisa, and Tony Peterson all of Nebo, NC, Dan Peterson and his spouse, Hazel, of Orange, TX, and Paul Peterson and his spouse, Debbie, of Asheville, NC; grandchild, Brooke (Zaylie); nieces, Michelle Peterson, Sherrie Hart, Deborah Peterson, and Erica Shipman; and nephew, Jay Peterson.

A memorial service will be held at 7:30 PM on Monday, September 26, 2022 in the chapel of Penland Family Funeral Home in Swannanoa with Don Collins to officiate.  The family will receive friends an hour and a half prior to the service.
