Jenny Rebecca (Bondy) Pierce

Jenny Rebecca Pierce, age 51, of Mill Spring, NC, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville, NC.

Jenny was born on January 1, 1972, in Orlando, FL to Michael Maddox and Debra Bondy. When she was still a young girl, Jenny’s family moved to Swannanoa, NC.

She worked at the Beacon Manufacturing Company, Walmart in Asheville, Exxon Station in Swannanoa, and K.D.’s in Fairview.  Jenny enjoyed being outdoors on the lake, going camping and sitting by the campfire. She was quiet and reserved but as she got more comfortable with you, her funny personality would shine. Jenny made sure you were always doing right, and she kept you straight.

Jenny was a wonderful daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved her family and friends dearly and she will be missed deeply.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her father, Michael Maddox and his wife Susan, Jenny’s step-mother, of Rutherfordton, NC; mother, Debra Bondy of Asheville, NC; four beautiful daughters, Cecilee Weiler of Marion, NC, Brittany (Cody) Johnson of Old Fort, NC, Saleena Pierce of Black Mountain, NC, and Sarah Pierce of Morganton, NC; brother, John (Hope) Maddox, of Fletcher, NC; sister, Michele (Michael) Rathbone of Canton, NC; two grandsons, Barret and Jude Johnson, both of Old Fort, NC; granddaughter, Lara Pierce of Morganton, NC; life-long best friend, Lynn (Richard) Stanley and her mom, who was like a second mother to Jenny, Gail Roberts, both of Mill Spring, NC.

A private family Celebration of  Jenny’s Life will be held at a later date.
