Jerry Wayne Price

Jerry Wayne Price, 74, of Swannanoa, NC, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

Born on December 24, 1951, in McDowell County, NC, Jerry was the son of Clarence A. Price and Hazel Ellington Price, both of Marion, NC. He was preceded in death by his brother, Leroy “Bud” Price.

Jerry graduated from high school before proudly serving in the United States Army. He later worked as a construction builder, dedicating himself to his craft. He was of the Baptist faith and found great joy in fishing and following sports.

Jerry is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Carolyn Lewis Price; daughters, Amy Price of Swannanoa, NC, Holly Price of Marion, NC; son, Jeremy Price of Marion, NC; stepdaughter, Stacey Nelson; stepson, Brian Reems; sisters, Rena Parker of Marion, NC, Ann Wheeler of Marion, NC; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
