Johnny James Williams Jr.

Johnny James Williams Jr., 77, of Weaverville, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 5, 2024, at his home. He was Born December 7, 1946, in Littlefield, TX, the son of the late Johnny and Odessa Williams.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a fine ballroom dancer and an excellent marksman when it came to hunting; however, the things he enjoyed the most were sitting around his fire pit, sharing stories, and spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are his children, Dawn Fleetwood of Waterloo, IL, and Shawn Williams and his spouse, Laura, of Durham, NC; siblings, Troy, Eddie, Mary, and Janie; grandchildren, David Lee, Bryan, Trisha, and Victoria; and six wonderful great-grandchildren.

No public services will be held at this time.
