Keith Evan Fishel

Keith Evan Fishel, age 58, of Black Mountain, NC, passed away on Sunday, October, 11, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Fishel was born on November 19, 1961 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, to William Melvin Fishel and the late Joan Harriman Fishel. He graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School and earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Electronics from the National Institute of Technology in Cuyahoga Falls. He worked as a Senior Web Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank.

Keith was a big sweetheart,  who had a great sense of humor and an optimistic outlook on life. He loved  doing DIY projects, camping, hiking and being outdoors. Most of all, Keith loved being with his family and his boys.

In addition to his father, Keith is survived by his two sons, Rhys Fishel of Black Mountain and Aidan Fishel of Shelby, NC; a brother, Kevin Fishel and wife Emma, of Harbor City, CA; two sisters, Karen Howard and her husband Todd, of Morganton, NC and Rebecca Fishel-Bright and her husband Ken of Ambridge, PA; mother of his two sons, Hazel Maston and her husband Jason, of Shelby, NC; three nephews, Kyle Fishel of Irvine, CA, and Maxwell and Chandler Howard, both of Morganton; a niece, Heather Adams and her husband Dave, of Harbor City, CA; and a very special friend, Joanne Lynch, of Hendersonville, NC.

A Celebration of Keith’s Life will be announced by the family at a later date.
