Kenneth Allan Owenby

Kenneth Allan Owenby, age 70, of Black Mountain, NC, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Swannanoa Valley Health and Rehab in Swannanoa, NC.

Kenneth was born in Buncombe County to the late Tom C. Owenby and Viola Dotson Owenby on May 22, 1954. He was of Baptist faith and loved our Lord and Savior. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his baby daughter Miranda and sister Faye Clubb.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his brothers Cecil (Arlene) Owenby of Black Mountain, NC, Jerry Owenby of Weaverville, NC, and Raymond (Ina) Owenby of Black Mountain; sisters Doris Brown of Black Mountain and Cathy (Jesse) Shipman of Black Mountain. Kenneth had a very special niece and many other nephews and nieces.

A Memorial celebration will be announced at a later time.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude for prayers and expressions of sympathy.
