Kristin Lou “Kris” Marquez Prince died at home in Swannanoa, North Carolina, at the age of sixty-four. She was born January 30, 1960, to the late Eugene P. Marquez and Betty Lu Hutton in Auburn, Nebraska. Kristin graduated from Lejeune High School. She enjoyed finding shells, crafting and cooking.
In addition to her biological parents, Kristin was preceded in death by her grandson, Tyler Ray Baysden.
She is survived by her children, Alicia Nicole Prince of Swansboro, North Carolina, and Jeremy Markus Prince of Wilmington, North Carolina; her father, James Leon Hutton and step-mother, Carol Hutton, of Silver Springs, Maryland; sisters, Teresa Sue Schnippert of Port Charlotte, Florida, Danielle Lyn Roach of Wilmington, North Carolina, and Martine Ann Marquez of Jacksonville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Cora Lynn Nicole Baysden and Logan Lee Prince, both of Swansboro, North Carolina; great-granddaughter, Keilani Nicole Baysden of Swansboro, North Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.
