Lauretta (Johnson) Adams

Lauretta J. Adams, 102, of Asheville, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Born March 19, 1922, in Lewes, DE, she was the daughter of the late John Henry Johnson and Elsie Johnstone Johnson.

She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouse, Charles Calhoun Adams, and children, Linda McCollum and Iris Burrell.

Surviving are her son, Terry Adams, and his spouse, Debbie, of Asheville, NC, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

 A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at West Memorial Park in Weaverville, NC, with Rev. Randy Burrell officiating.
