Lexcine Shevon Smith

Lexcine Shevon Smith, age 32 of Asheville, NC, passed away on August 6, 2023 at her residence.

Lexcine was born on May 5, 1991 in Buncombe County, NC to Juanita Smith and James Smith. She attended Owen High School and Community High School and Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Swannanoa, NC.

Lexcine was a loving, caring and sweet lady with a great personality and she could be funny and goofy, too. Lexcine was reserved, quiet, and very kind hearted. She loved all animals and was very close with her family. She enjoyed music, dancing and wearing the latest fashions. Most of all, she loved her family and friends and she will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Micah Harwood of Swannanoa, NC; daughter, Maylia Smith of Swannanoa, NC; brother, Christopher Smith of Oteen, NC; sister, Allison Smith of Louisville, KY; four nephews, Knoxx Smith of Old Fort, NC, Zamar Pearman of Kannapolis, NC, Javeon and Nazareth Smith, both of Swannanoa, NC; two nieces, Sabray Smith of Candler, NC, and Lashaiya Smith of Asheville, NC; and a host of cousins, aunts, and uncles whom she loved dearly.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Penland Family Funeral Home, 125 South Avenue, Swannanoa, NC, 28711, officiated by Brother Derek Young.
