Margie Colleen (Hunter) Gosnell

Margie Colleen Gosnell, 78, of Asheville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at her home with her family by her side.

Born June 30, 1946, in Asheville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Hulin and Texie Hunter. She was a strong woman of Faith who loved sharing Jesus with others. She enjoyed making a home, crocheting, working in her flower garden, and spending time with her grandchildren. Colleen was a member of Community Chapel Baptist Church in Leicester, NC.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Paul, Charles,  Joe Hunter,  Virginia Baston, and Dorothy Agan. Surviving are her loving husband of 60 years, Jerry Van Gosnell; children, Jerry Gosnell and his spouse, Cindi, Michael Gosnell, and Melissa Gosnell, all of Asheville, NC; grandchildren, Christina Jones, Kimberly Jones, Abigail Gosnell, Elli Gosnell, and Evan Gosnell; great-grandchildren, Lilyan, Asa, Zuriana, Maizie, and Jeremiah.

 A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
