Mark Edward Silvers

Mark Edward Silvers, age 66, of Asheville, NC, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022, at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center in Asheville.

Mark was born on July 31, 1956, in Buncombe County to the late Fred Silvers and Patsy Hyder Silvers.

Mark worked for Britt and Tilson Glass before he retired. He also graduated with honors from AB Tech in the physician assisting program. Mark enjoyed his solitude. He liked to play billiards and won many tournaments. He also enjoyed traveling and going to Myrtle Beach for fun. His family loved him dearly and will miss him terribly.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Smithwick Silvers; and his son, Heath Edward Silvers.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving girlfriend of 16 years, Sharon Rector of Asheville; his brother, Geary (Beverly) Silvers of Asheville; and a niece, Meghan Silvers, of Asheville.
