Marsha Lynn Ball

Marsha Lynn Ball, age 40, of Black Mountain, NC, was taken to soon by Hurricane Helene on Friday, September 27, 2024.

She was born in Buncombe County, NC, on May 11, 1984, to the late Leonard Raymond Ball and Patricia Ball of Black Mountain, NC. Marsha graduated from T.C. Roberson High School's P.E.P. Program. Her hobbies included coloring on her iPad.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her grandmother, Barbara Craig, and sister, Deborah Walker.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her mother, Patricia Ball; brothers William Ball of Black Mountain and David Ball of Candler, NC; grandfather Sam Craig of Black Mountain; nephew James "Lil Man" Walker of Black Mountain; and special friend to the family Richard Pack.

A Visitation will be held in the Penland Family Funeral Home chapel on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 5 PM to 7 PM. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 2 PM at Cane Creek Cemetery, Graveyard Rd, Fairview, NC 28730. Pastor Ernest Gibson Ecker Waters will officiate.
