Mary Alice (Frisbee) DeWeese

Mary Alice Frisbee Deweese went to meet her Savior October 10, 2024. Born March 3, 1938 to William and Pearl (Corn) Frisbee, she grew up in Candler N.C. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Mac Arthur DeWeese, who passed away September 17, 2014. Also, brothers, Herbert, James, Oliver and sister, Virginia. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon DeWeese Young (Randy) of Franklinton NC .and son, Timothy Marvin DeWeese (Sandy) of Chesnee, S.C. Granddaughter, Sarah Young Gonzalez, (Victor) of Durham, NC, Kaitlyn Walters Mapstone (Michael) of Pacolet SC; Grandsons, Nathan R. Young (Kristen) of Winston Salem N.C., Timothy David DeWeese, T.J.Taylor, Mark Taylor all of Old Fort NC and Garrett Walters of Greenwood, SC. Great grandchildren; Jaxon and MacKenzie DeWeese, Kennedy, Carter and Camden Gonzalez, and Elijah Mapstone and a new great grandchild from Nathan and Kristen Young due in March of 2025 She was a member of Swannanoa Height Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church, 222 Fountain Way, Swannanoa, NC on Sunday October 13 from 5 to 6:30. Funeral will be at the church on Monday at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in Skyview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Missions Program at Swannanoa Heights Baptist Church will be appreciated. Pastor Bruce Robinson, Alan Blanton, and Randy Young will officiate the service
