Michael Eugene Fore

Michael Eugene Fore, age 64, of Burnsville, NC, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

Michael was born on December 16, 1957, in Redding, California to James Fore and the late Betty Jean Rollins Fore.

He was the owner and operator of Mike’s Auto Clinic in Burnsville. Mike was a hard-working man who enjoyed helping people. He was a straight-up fellow who would ‘tell it like it is” and never give you the run-around. He loved Nascar and was a race car driver himself and  he used to race at the New Asheville Speedway. Most of all, Mike loved his family, his friends, and his pets. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, Mike is preceded in death by his sister, Donna Fore Smith Gilliam; and sister-in-law, Donna Fore.

Those left behind to cherish his memory, in addition to his father, James Fore, are his partner of 36 years and mother of his children, Tina Mayner of Burnsville; two sons, Justin and Austin Fore, both of Burnsville; and a brother, James Fore of Swannanoa, NC.
