Michael Brian Hampton of Black Mountain, North Carolina, died on November 6, 2024, at his home in Black Mountain, NC.

He was born on April 12, 1958, in Buncombe County, NC, to the late Benjamin Kent Hampton and Katherine Yow. Michael was an avid musician and friend to everyone he met.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, in the Penland Family Funeral Home chapel, 125 South Avenue, Swannanoa, NC 28778, from 3 pm to 5 pm.
