Michael Brian Langlois, 23, of Swannanoa, NC passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. Michael was born on December 01, 1994 in Buncombe County to the late Donna Marie Letterman and Arthur Langlois.
Michael attended Charles D. Owen where most knew him as “Langlois”. He excelled in many sports including wrestling and football and developed not only a love for sports, but also for his coaches, mentors, and teammates. After graduation, Michael continued to learn many skills and trades. He was very driven and dedicated at everything he did and attributed developing a strong work ethic to working for Steve Crowe. From a young age, Michael always had a love and passion for any outdoor activities especially hunting and fishing. He had many hopes and plans for his future, but his number one priority was becoming a better person so he could be a dad to his son, Maverick.
Michael was blessed with, but sadly leaves behind a son, Maverick Brian Christopher (Chrissy Mundy); his father, Arthur Langlois; grandmothers, Mary Adams and Bertha Langlois; sisters, Krystal Lynn Curtis (Jason) and Megan Marie Langlois; brother, Logan Langlois; nephews, Tate Kitchen and Branson Curtis, all of Swannanoa; and siblings, Jessica Langlois and Chad Langlois of Virginia. Mike had numerous uncles, Paul, Mike, Chris (VA), Darrell and Robert (Swannanoa); aunts, Teresa, Marie & Susan (VA); as well as numerous cousins.
Michael may have left us all behind here, but he finally gets to be with and squeeze his Mom, Donna Marie Letterman, and go fishing with his grandfathers, Samuel Jack Adams, Bobby Letterman, and Arthur Leo Langlois.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 3pm with a receiving of family and friends from 2pm to 3pm at Grovestone Baptist Church in Black Mountain, NC with the Rev. Lamb officiating. There will also be a graveside service following at Bee Tree Church Cemetery in Swannanoa, NC.
