Michael "Joe" Morgan

            Michael "Joe" Morgan, age 64, of Black Mountain, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. He was born on July 21, 1955 in Alamance County to the late Diamond Alexander Morgan and Esther Rachel Cordell Bun. Joe worked as a self-employed handyman in and around Buncombe County. He is survived by his son, Paul Andrew Manogue (Alan Bethea); his brothers, Steven L. Morgan (Lorri) of Graham, NC and Frank D. Bunn (Heather) of Burlington, NC; his sister, Jamie Shambley of Burlington, NC; six nieces and nephews; and six great nieces and nephews.
            A memorial service will be held at 2pm, July 11, 2020 at Kerlee Heights Baptist Church. The burial will be a private ceremony for immediate family.
            In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Kerlee Heights Baptist Church at 208 Kerlee Heights Road, Black Mountain, NC 28711.
