Nancy Clara (Goodlake) Green

Nancy Clara Goodlake Green, 83, of Asheville, NC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Solace Center.

Born on March 10, 1943, Nancy was the daughter of the late Harry Harold Goodlake and Laura Katherine Sherlin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Frank Green, and her daughter, Donna Alsip.

Nancy is survived by her stepson, Mitch Green; stepdaughter, Barbara Green; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Penland Family Funeral Home, 125 South Avenue, Swannanoa, NC 28778. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery, Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Swannanoa, NC 28778.
