Nola Lee Brown Ramsuer, 70, of Swannanoa, NC, passed away on September 27, 2024, with her husband of 46 years, Robert Lee Ramsuer Jr, due to Hurricane Helene.
Born August 6, 1954, in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of the late Ella Mae Waters. She held an A.A. degree in English and was employed at the Black Mountain Neurological Medical Center in Black Mountain, NC. Nola enjoyed baking, music, and watching a good movie. She had a good, gentle soul who enjoyed helping others and touching people’s lives.
In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Brown. Surviving are her daughter Shalana Jordan and her spouse, Edward, of Winston-Salem, NC; sisters Liz Jones and Inez Whiteside, both of Asheville, NC; grandsons Paul “PJ” Jordan and Aiden Jordan, both of Winston-Salem, NC; and three nieces and three nephews.
Her life was celebrated on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
Her daughter Shalana would like to thank the Swannanoa community, local authorities, her parents' neighbors, friends, and family for helping her find them so they could rest now.
