Pamela Gail (Lanning) Holcombe

Pamela Gail Lanning Holcombe, age 69, of Swannanoa, NC, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

Pamela was born on October 30, 1952, in Buncombe County, NC to the late John C. Lanning and Ruth M. Morgan Lanning. She was woman of God. A wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren whom all loved her deeply.

In addition to her parents, Pamela was preceded in death by her daughter Crystal Holcombe.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, John Alfred (Breanna) Holcombe of Greenville, TN; daughter, Katherine (Allan) Gribble of Swannanoa; granddaughters, Cameo Holcombe of Swannanoa, and Trinity Raines of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandsons, John Raines of Swannanoa, Dawayne Raines of Fayetteville, NC and James Gribble of Swannanoa; great-grandsons, Weston Ledbetter of Myrtle Beach and Xzadent Raines of Candler, NC; a great-granddaughter, Bella Raines of Candler; brothers, Grant (Pat) Lanning  of Arden, NC and  Clif (Jean) Lanning (Jean) of Woodfin, NC.; sister, Angela (Eddie) Kindley of Asheville.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 2pm in the chapel of Penland Family Funeral Home with Reverend Marc Penley officiating.
