Richard Curtis Brown

Richard Curtis Brown, 51, of Fairview passed away suddenly on Monday, January 24, 2022 at his home.  Born April 13, 1970 in Asheville, NC, he was the son of the late Buster and Molly Brown Jr.  He was a graduate of A.C. Reynolds High School and was employed as a landscaper for the last several years. 

Richard volunteered as a fireman for Reynolds Fire Department and later for the Fairview Fire Department. 

Of his many hobbies, bow hunting and gardening were among his favorites, but nothing superseded the enjoyment he had when spending time with his daughter, Laycee Brown. 

In addition to his daughter, he is survived by his sister, Christine Brown Gosnell of Fairview; friend and mother to his daughter, Audrey Alexander of Asheville; nephew, Caleb Brown; and niece, Hannah Gosnell.  

No formal services will be held at this time.
