Richard "Ricky" Rice

Ricky Rice of Asheville, loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully at home on November 14, 2025.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughters, Kerry Rice and Kristen Gragg (Rusty); and grandsons, Jaden Gragg and Jaylen Peek. He is also survived by sisters Pat Garrison and Wanda Fite (George) of Fairview, a nephew, and several nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Rice; his mother, Bea Rice; his brother, Billy Rice; and his niece, Lacy Fite.

Ricky loved cooking and gardening, but most of all, he loved bass fishing. He spent any free time on the lake with family and friends.

He was a licensed plumbing contractor and retired from Azalea Management and Leasing.
