Ronald Carpenter Obituary

Ronald Adam Carpenter, age 45, of Marshall, NC, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at his home. He was born on June 27, 1976 in Dallas, TX to Ronald Alston Carpenter of Charleston, SC and the late Catherine Finnegan Carpenter. Ronald worked for Newcombe Tree Service in Swannanoa. He was a loving and caring father and grandfather and was his son's hero. Ronald loved working with his hands and building homes and volunteered his services during Hurricane Katrina. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, archery and flying his remote controlled airplanes.

Those left behind to cherish Ronald's memory are his son, Adam Carpenter and his fiancé, Jessica Kelly of Swannanoa; his sisters, Laura Williams (Wayne) of Charleston, SC and Kelly (Brian) Champlin of Buford, SC; and his grandson, Caleb Alston Carpenter.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Penland Family Funeral Home is honored to be caring for the Carpenter Family and assisting them with arrangements.
