Ruth King Webb

Ruth King Webb, 84, of Leicester, NC, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Emerald Ridge Rehabilitation and Care Center. She was born June 4, 1940, in Buncombe County, NC, the daughter of the late Lewis and Lois King. She was a member of South Turkey Creek Baptist Church.

 In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouse, Ray Webb, and brothers, Ray and Ralph King.

Surviving are her children, James E. Webb of Leicester, NC, and Harold Webb and his partner, Candi Holston, of Woodfin, NC; siblings, Frances Clubb and her partner, Roger Kent, of Leicester, NC, and Brenda King of Leicester, NC; grandchild, Ashley Holston; special niece, Kimberly King; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 A reception of friends will be held at Penland Family Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, October 28, 2024.

 A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at South Turkey Creek Baptist Church.
