Sharion Elaine (Young) Stewart

Sharion Elaine Stewart, 77, of Whittier, NC, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 12, 2024.

Born February 14, 1947, in Barto, GA, she was the daughter of the late Wofford Guy Young and Sarah Francis Hatfield. She attended high school in Sandy Springs, GA, and had an eventful career working for Marble Products, CVC of Atlanta, IRS, Scientific Atlanta, and Stewart Technologies.

Sharion was always up to a challenge; she enjoyed playing Sudoku and working on puzzles.

Surviving are her spouse of 37 years, William Barry Stewart; children, Jeff Williamson and his spouse, Amy, of Oakwood, GA, Scott Stewart of Glowering Branch, GA, and Clay Williamson and his spouse, Amanda, of Maggie Valley, NC; 3 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

 A celebration of her life will be announced at a future date.
