Stanley Eugene Cole

            Stanley Eugene Cole, age 58 of Arden, NC, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at his home. He was born on May 29, 1963 to Jakey Cole, Jr. of Asheville, NC and the late Geraldine Anders Cole who passed away on February 25, 2008. Stanley graduated from Reynolds High School. He enjoyed spending time with and having fun with his friends and family. He loved old cars, collecting pennies, swimming, playing pool, go karts and good food. 
            Along with his mother, Stanley was also preceded in death by his brother, Jakey Cole III. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Angela Hammons of Fairview, NC, Miranda Conner (Ryan) of Clyde, NC, and Lori Cole of Asheville, NC; his sister, Diane Shelton (David) of Marshall, NC; his brother, Richard Cole (Shanan) of Canton, NC; seven grandchildren; and four nieces and nephews.
            A graveside service will be held at 1pm, Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Green Hills Cemetery in Asheville, NC. Penland Family Funeral Home is honored to be caring for the Cole Family and assisting them with arrangements.
