Taylor Rae Lummus

            Taylor Rae Lummus, age 42, of Swannanoa, NC, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at her home. She was born on May 2, 1979 in Fayetteville, NC to the late Ray Gene Lummus who passed away in 2010 and Brenda Louise Faircloth Lummus of Swannanoa, NC. Taylor graduated from Owen High School and worked at Bayada Home Health Care. She also attended Discovery Church in Asheville, NC. Taylor was a loving daughter, sister and mother and just a very caring person in general. She always went out of her way to help others and was a very happy and positive person who always had a smile and some laughter to share when you were with her. Taylor especially loved her dog Sunshine and her children were the absolute joy of her life.

            Along with her mother, those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Addison Taylor Fox of Swannanoa, NC and Tatum Aryn Ledford of Asheville, NC; her brother, Travis Ray Lummus of Leland, NC; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was dearly loved and will be truly missed by all of them.
