Theodore Creasman Obituary

Theodore Neal Creasman, 85, of Fairview, NC, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at The Laurels of Summit Ridge.

Theodore was born on July 1, 1939, in Buncombe County, NC, to the late Theodore James Creasman and Janie Owen Stepp Creasman. He is also preceded in death by his spouse, Judy Keever Creasman, and brothers, Hardy and Roy Creasman.

Theodore loved music, visiting with his family, and telling stories. He was a people person, and you could always find him at Feed and Seed in Fletcher, NC.

Surviving Theodore are his sons, Martin Creasman of Texas and James Creasman of Fairview, NC; sisters, Ruth Taylor and Ethel Penley of Asheville, NC and Mabel Moore of Old Fort, NC; grandson, Cole Creasman; and many nieces, nephews, close friends, and extended family members.

The family would like to thank the nurses and care team at The Laurels of Summit Ridge and Medi Home Hospice for their excellent care.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Penland Family Funeral Home, with visitation starting at noon. Reverend James Lamb will be officiating. Following the service, the burial will take place at Skyview Memorial Park in Asheville, NC.
