Timothy Joe Harrison

Timothy “Tim” Joe Harrison, age 63, of Swannanoa, NC, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

Tim was born on December 6, 1958, in Dothan, Alabama, to the late Bobby Joel Harrison and Anice Whitman Harrison.

He worked as a mechanic in the automobile industry and loved racing cars. Tim was a wonderful husband, and a great father, brother, and grandfather.  He was very close to his family and was always there to help them in any way he could. He enjoyed working on cars and  watching NASCAR races. He also had a race car of his own that he would race at the Asheville Speedway.

In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jim Wheeler.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 44 years, Brenda Milligan Harrison; three daughters, Angela Harrison of Swannanoa, Tina (Jerome McClain) Harrison of Swannanoa, and Diane (Joe) Poland of Fairview, NC; five brothers; five sisters; seven grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter.

The family will have a private Celebration of  Tim’s Life at a later date.
