Tina Ann (Guffey) Sampson

Tina Ann Guffey Sampson, age 51, of Asheville, NC, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center in Asheville.

Tina was born on October 9, 1970, in Buncombe County to Thomas Guffey and the late Betty Owenby Guffey Maxwell. She was a child of God and she loved her Lord and Savior with all of her heart.

Tina had a loving nature and was a wonderful listener and talker. She had a heart of gold and a good sense of humor. She enjoyed getting together with her family and going out to eat. Tina had an artistic talent and  loved coloring and she made beautiful pictures. She also loved butterflies. Most of all, she loved her family dearly and she will be missed greatly.

In addition to her father, those left behind to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 17 years, Dwight Sampson; a son, D. J. Sampson of Asheville; a daughter, Talina Norton of Asheville; three sisters, Tammy (Jeff) Clark of Asheville, April (Mike) Noles and Nickey Guffey, both of Marion, NC; a grandson, Joshua Warner; and a granddaughter, Katelyn Warner.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
