Obituary

William H. Davis, 92, of Swannanoa, NC passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 at the North Carolina State Veteran’s Home in Black Mountain, NC. 

He proudly served in the U.S. Armed Forces during the Korean War as a combat medic.  An angel has come for him and carried him home to his Heavenly throne where a great reunion was waiting for him.  So, stand at the gate to usher us in when our time on Earth has come to its end.

 Preceding him in death are his parents, Maney and Polly Davis; and siblings, Margaret Ayers, Mildred Morrow, and Weaver Davis.

 Surviving is his wife, Brenda Davis of Swannanoa; sibling, Dean Davis (Nelling); children, Bobby, Cathy, Regina, and Vicky; step-children, Danny, Eric, and Jennings; and many wonderful grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in the chapel of the Western Carolina  State Veteran’s Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC.
